Post-trauma orthoses are used to treat fractures and sprains. This type of orthosis is considered to be a viable alternative to a cast, and they certainly offers multiple benefits: they allow for wound care; they are light; they allow patients to begin re-education earlier. The most popular post-trauma orthoses are the rigid walking boot and the EXOS wrist splint.

The orthotist will adjust the orthosis in only one visit. If necessary, the patient can come to our clinic without an appointment to receive the proper care and the necessary orthosis. In this case, it’s important to bring a valid prescription from your doctor.
