EXOS ORTHOTICS
Recommendations
EXOS orthotics are used to stabilize the thumb, hand and/or wrist in order to promote the healing of the injury. This orthotics is adjustable to ensure comfort for the patient. Furthermore, it can be removed once a day and cleaned
Installation
Instructions for the splint:
- Position the thumb, hand and/or wrist in the brace.
- Push the BOA button and pull the tab to equalize the queues.
- Turn the BOA knob clockwise.
***The BOA button must be in the locked position when the splint is worn.
To remove the splint:
- Lift the BOA button.
- Pull the tab to loosen the wires.
- Open the device to remove the thumb, hand and/or wrist.
Maintenance
- Wash the inside and outside of the splint with a antibacterial soap.
- Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
- Let air dry.
- Avoid exposing the orthotic to extreme heat as it could be unmolded.
